Our Positive Impact

Did you know that fashion production is responsible for 10% of humanity’s carbon emissions? That's more than all international flights and maritime shipping combined.

Even more alarming is that 85% of all textiles end up in landfills or are incinerated each year. This is equivalent to one garbage truck full of clothes being discarded every second.

But there's hope! Up to 25% of a garment’s carbon footprint comes from how we wash and care for it - so there's plenty of room for change when it comes to the way we're doing things as consumers.

We know that loved clothes last longer, and by extending the life of our wardrobe staples by just 9 months, we can reduce their carbon, water, and waste footprint by up to 30%.

Our Mission

At Clothes Doctor, we are passionate about changing the way we care for our clothes. We believe in the power of slow fashion – choosing quality pieces that you truly love and caring for them so they last a lifetime.

That's why we created a range that shows love for your wardrobe. With products specifically crafted for even the most delicate and temperamental of fabrics, our care collections are designed to make laundry a more fulfilling, environmentally-friendly experience all-round.

As our Brand Ambassador, Orsola de Castro, perfectly puts it, "The most sustainable garment is the one already in your wardrobe."

    Introducing the CD Loop Scheme

    How It Works:

    1. Collect Your Parts: For any products purchased with our new branded packaging, you can now return lids, spray heads, and empty scent bags with tags to our workshop address.
    2. Package and Post: Simply pop these items in an envelope and include our "Freepost" address on the front (so there's no postage cost to you). Be sure to include your name and most recent order number either inside or on the outside of the envelope. This helps us match the returns to your account.
    3. Earn Credits: For every 5 parts you return to our workshop, you'll receive 20% off your next order. Each of the below count as 1 part:
      • 1 lid
      • 1 atomiser
      • 1 cotton bag with tag attached (please pour the old herb mix into your compost before returning)
To maximise carbon efficiency, we encourage collecting at least 5 parts to return to us in one go, however there is no limit to the number of parts you can include.

    Our Goals:

        • Reduce Plastic Waste: By reusing and recycling our product components, we significantly cut down on our plastic waste and help to support a circular economy together.
        • Improve Recycling: For any product parts that can't be reused in our workshop, we're committed to the proper recycling of them. Our CD Loop Scheme ensures that all materials are processed responsibly, minimising environmental impact.
        • Provide Exclusive Loyalty Rewards: As a token of our appreciation, we're thrilled to offer you credits towards future purchases and exclusive discounts. Thank you for being a part of our sustainability efforts!

Join the CD Loop Scheme today and make a positive impact on the environment while enjoying the benefits of our products.
